Evolution is the adaptation of species to the changes in their environment.
Most in a species don't make the transition. It requires a certain perspicacity or a simple mutation.
In a nut shell, most people are chicken shit because they are limited in their abilities.
Look at Sherrod Brown maintain his loyalty to his constituents without a single whine.
Professional athletes know the game when they get traded. They play their cards and negotiate their contracts.
They are all free agents living off their talents.
Politicians live off their abilities to raise money and placate the most voters. They have this special ability to make their living representing the world view of their followers. They worry about losing their fans without an alternative.
Remember this, the average NFL player lasts less than 3 years.
Don't know how long Politicians last, but the ones who hang around know how to keep the money flowing.
