8. Mexico is getting a large and increasing amount of money

from other than the US. The latest warm embrace at APEC this year between China and Mexico means the money and investment from there will be expanding even more rapidly than the nearly 20 fold increase of the last 20 or so years. Likewise they are spreading their influence throughout the rest of the Southern Hemisphere. Our money is no longer the only game in town.
