If he can extract a promise to preserve Medicare and Medicaid, it's worth the 58th or whatever vote to get that broken promise on the record.

As he's not the 50th vote, I'll also give him some latitude with a prominent Pennsylvania "resident" who probably has some residual support among people who may or may not have voted for him.

Fetterman can be a loose cannon and the Sinema fear is real, but this seems like a strategic move for our team.
