Liberals rely on commercial media to "get the message out." It's cheaper than paying for one, to be sure. But commercial media is there to make money, not to help anyone and especially not to save anyone. They promote SPECTACLE to sell advertising space, and that's the all of it. 40 years on from Reaganite deregulation, and 30 years out from Newt Gingrich, you'd think someone would have figured that out. But no.
