Imo, they CHOOSE to "not believe" things.

It all stems from decades of right wing propaganda, generally, but specifically about the vile liberals.

It programmed most of the country and DT plugged into that.

So, to me, they don't want to think about the ramifications of putting him back in charge because he is guy who will finally defeat the "left."

That is all they care about, and will continue to be the rationale to justify and support all the horrible stuff that is coming.
