Ours, here, is active! We meet (usually via Zoom) every Monday, we organize group activities like holding signs at busy street corners, arranging meetings with our local reps, hosting Postcard Parties at local restaurants where you can order lunch or munchies while you write postcards to our local, state, and federal reps (we provide the postage and mail everything at the end of the day), and more.
Were on holiday break now. After the election and all the work and door-knocking and leafleting we did, we sure can use the rest! Im hoping the groups ready for the new year, and all the new challenges and obstacles that need to be confronted.
The good news: our Congressional representation has flipped back to blue, THANK GOODNESS!!! But while WE are rid of the previous Rep, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, unfortunately the whole country AND all our workers have to deal with her now. Shes trumps pick for Labor Secretary. God help us ALL!!!
Unfortunately shes not just our districts problem anymore. Shes gonna be EVERYBODYS problem all across America.
