87. United Churches of Christ are also good

UCC was formed by a merger of several denominations/organizations

First UCC here in Ft Worth is probably the most progressive of our mainline churches, with First United Methodist coming close behind. (FUMC is my church). Both denominations are likely to have a good youth program especially if it is a large church.

The controversey over homosexuality within the UMC has been resolved. Churches voted to stay within the UMC denomination or leave, so she shouldn't worry about that.

I would recommend that she "shop" for a church. Visit the ones her liberal friends suggest. Many people have joined ours because after visiting around they liked our theology.
