UUs are not identified by dogma or beliefs. You can be Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Atheist, etc and still be a UU.
If the 7 principles make sense to you, look for a Unitarian Universalist church in your neighborhood. Many churches have services on-line, so you may want to help her check out a few. And if after watching on-line, then check out attending live and in-color!

Get out of small southern Ohio towns. Look up some of the really great small towns home to liberal arts colleges.
