If your friend has any respect for the US Constitution and the American ideals for which so many military service members sacrificed so much, I'm sure you can make the case with numerous facts and quotes from Trump in his own words that Trump spits on those who sacrificed and is a treasonous criminal who threatens to turn America into the kind of authoritarian state we've fought against.

If he tries to deflect or "whatabout" Biden and Harris, cut him off and continue the barrage against Trump. There is no shortage of ammunition.

Ultimately, he should not want to discuss politics with you. Perhaps you can resume your friendship on other terms.
