In reply to the discussion: Who misses going to the stores on Black Friday [View all]ProfessorGAC
(70,615 posts)41. Actually....
...I've seen TV ads for multiple retailers advertising Black Friday deals available only in-store.
Now, that same deal might be available on Cyber Monday; no way to know.
But, apparently some retailers are doing deals to entice in-person shopping.
Best Buy, Kohl's, Target, Lowe's, Meijer... Those 5 are for sure. I saw the ads again just today. But, I think I've seen at least 3 others.
I'll pass anyway. I don't need anything that badly & I only buy for my wife & the beasties.
(OH, I remembered another one: Guitar Center. The text in the ad says "In-Store Only".)

Right now there's nothing I need that desperately that I would ruin a perfectly good day to get.

Exactly. There's a 65" 4K TV on sale at my local Shop Rite for less than 400 dollars.

Me! It used to be the first day that my daughter and I would do serious shopping.
