But I believe they were in territorial battles with ISIS at one time.
They are Islamist jihadists.
They are anti-Iran, anti-Hezbollah, anti-Hamas, anti-Russia. Turkey is their champion.
I'm trying to retrieve shreds of things I used to know that are buried under more recent developments. This might have been the most informative thing I've found so far.
