There was a story a few years ago about a fox in Washington, DC that was launching herself out of the bushes and biting people. She bit nine people before she was captured. Of course she was euthanized and tested, and some folks were angry about that, saying she should have been quarantined and observed for signs of rabies. Hello? She bit nine people. That's a sign of rabies.
