Morning Joe sucks, yes. I don't watch it, and haven't for a long time. However, other shows I do watch, including Deadline White House, have been a good source of analysis and commentary for a long time, as well.

My intake of TV news is pretty simple. In the morning, I watch an hour of local news on WCCO, the CBS affiliate in the Twin Cities. That's followed by the CBS Morning news, which I also watch. Then, I am at my computer the rest of the day until 3 PM. At 3-5, I'm listening to MSNBC while I read the Minnesota Star Tribune, my daily paper. At 5 PM, I switch to either the local NBC or ABC affiliate for an hour of local and national news. By viewing and listening to a variety of news outlets, I'm getting a decent spread of stories.

During the day, of course, I have access to DU and assorted other websites and news sources.

All of those are useful to me. I do not wish for MSNBC to go away, nor any of the others.
