our answer would be "we promise to not use Nuclear Weapons to blow up every city over 10,000 population from St Petersburg to Vladivostok if you leave Ukraine in the next 24 hours. Oh, and turn over your entire government and military to face war crimes trials. BTW, we are the only nation on the planet to use nuclear weapons in anger against an enemy, so you KNOW we are just crazy enough to do it."

Alas, we do not have such a President.
