10. We live in an oligarchy

The corporations are enjoying power and exercising control over our lives. They are sociopathic entities, void of human empathy and focused only on profits.

The oligarchs are not elected and the people have no recourse for their abuse. It has been rare that our lawmakers address their abuses. If you look through US history, the people have used violent means in the past to stand up to this power.

As we enter the era of leaders with no ethics or morality, I believe we can expect more response from the people.
