37. I'm trying to do without Amazon,

Sometimes it’s hard. I don’t use prime or any of the accelerated programs for delivery, but som items are difficult to buy locally. I’ve been using eBay or Etsy for a lot of things I used to buy on Amazon. I don’t know if that’s any better. Right now I’m trying to set up a grow area in my living room, with grow lights for spouts and tomatoes and greens and starting seeds next spring.

I’m going to put up a chicken house and a yard with garden beds next to it. I’m also going to clear some space down in my woods for growing some cotton. I’ve bought colored cotton seeds and have wanted to learn spin cotton for years, wool is easy, silk a little harder, but cotton has such short fibers, it’s a whole other thing. I got green, brown and reddish seeds for cotton. No dyes needed, just a lot of time and seed saving. In my own way I’m preparing for a more difficult time.
