Really weird news story: FBI shooting at MS motel still unexplained, but family looking for answers (MS) [View all]
https://wreg.com/news/investigations/weeks-after-fbi-shooting-at-ms-motel-woman-says-she-knows-who-victim-was-but-not-why-he-was-killed/
My commentary: Weeks after the shooting, a woman came forward, saying she is a family member and is beginning to ask questions.
She identified him as 50-year-old Ilya Beloozerov, originally from Russia. She says how he died was a case of overkill.
The woman sent WREG graphic pictures of his disfigured and swollen body, taken days after she says he was shot some 40 times in his chest, shoulder, abdomen, feet and neck.
The woman says five days before Beloozerovs death, family members got a call from the FBI with questions about whether he was being lured to help Ukraine.
The family said one thing they knew for sure was that Beloozerov would never back Russia.
My commentary again:
1st question: why would someone be "helping russia" by "being lured to help Ukraine?"
(It's really hard to tell most often here because the reporting and especially the writing is so poor.)
There is a LOT more at the story web site link, including that this man allegdly met a couple who had checked into the Super 8 Motel room where the FBI found this man. The couple state that they met the man locally and that he had a lot of cash with him. They say the man offered them $3,000 cash for a ride to California. (Personally, I would run like hell away from a deal like that. LOL)
All the police body cam footage was turned over to the FBI, per the story, and is now classified. Of course, the FBI is not talking...
According to the news story, the female relative states the man had been in the USA since 1987, working in the IT field, and was most recently working as a govt. contractor. (She didn't specify for USA or ruskies though.)
I'd love to hear anyone's comments here on this most bizarre news story.
