(3,217 posts)No one here ever called it fascism for mere policy disputes. What makes it fascism is the complete disrespect for the laws, buying elections, trying to overturn elections, undermining the will of the people through gerrymandering, throwing out legitimate votes, violating civil rights, overturning convictions for those who broke the law on your behalf, and undermining the rule of law by attacking the justice system through any means possible, creating a legal environment for the executive that defies ANY accountability. THAT'S what makes it fascism. Where have you been? These things have occurred right out in the open, as if they are daring anyone to call them out. Well, WE call them out! Why pussyfoot around the greatest threat to our democracy--spelled with a C, thank you , as well as a threat to our planet.
