They believe in an Isolationism theory that never worked anytime it was tried. But damned if they're not going to MAKE it happen correctly this time. Problem is, all these products no one but the rich will be able to afford anymore won't then be built in America. The repugs don't believe in progressive policies like that. Private companies getting public tax dollars for taking away jobs from civil servants and other fed workers? Great! Money to build factories, train staff, etc., to create our own goods here in this country? No freakin' way! It's totally bullshit thinking. They couldn't make it happen in Afghanistan, and they're not going to make it work here in this century, either. But they always believe it's the fault of the people implementing the policies... NOT the policies themselves!
