Since only two of the three were ever at war with each other at one time, and the two participants in the war would change on a moment's notice, was there ever actually a war at all? Could it be that the three states were really at peace, and they just claimed there was a war (which was set on a Hollywood stage, of course) to continue to justify the oppression and manufactured shortages?
