8. It's such a mish-mash, it is hard to tell when this effort took place - and how well it was publicized.

Depending on when bar associations meet, and what is required to take action, it may take more time than was available. Ohio's annual meeting is in May. They used to have a second meeting when all the sections met, but they abandoned that a while ago. I'm not involved enough anymore to know how much flexibility there would be to make an endorsement on behalf of the association between meetings.

In Ohio, many of the local bar associations are at the city level - rather than county. So the lack of county-specific endorsement doesn't surprise me.
