I feel that using the Bible (especially the New Testament) against the hypocrites is one of our most powerful tools. They cannot really argue, out loud, against what it teaches.....and it does NOT teach what many of these folks practice. They call it Christianity, but it is demonstrably not.

If one claims to be a Christian then they need to realize that they have one job and one commandment to follow. They are created for GOOD WORKS and examples have been provided. Spoiler alert: those good works are based on love of others! Bashing folks and taking away rights or assistance to the needy are definitely forbidden.

The commandment? It is, believe it or not, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

Jesus said it, Paul says it, James says it, John says it and the entire New Testament from start to finish states that if we do not love other people then we have no chance to gain eternal life.

Just as an added note, no where in the New Testament are Christians or non-Christians threatened with eternal torment in Hell. (That lesson is a bit more complicated, however. Let's stick to loving other people as the Christian hallmark!)
