6. Why take the risk?...the mods to planes that airlines are proposing aren't nearly enough

Until you get:

1. Everyone wearing a mask everywhere in public
2. Spacing on the plane that is at least 6 feet between passengers in any direction-- those dumb little side of seat shields they are proposing are a joke as is just skipping the middle seat.
3. Medical grade air filtration or really complete 100% exhaust and replacement with fresh outside air
4. Universal and regular testing of everyone so there is less and less chance the person getting on the plane with you is not an asymptomatic carrier.

You would be crazy to get on a plane now if you didn't have to. My son is an easy 1.5 hour flight away and just bought a house that I would love to go see and congratulate him on in person. I can drive it in 12 hours and that is going to be the way I do it when I think its safer for even doing that.
