41. I can think of several wsys it saves lives

Just one, woman I know, for example, had her heart vessels tear, front and back, during a vaginal delivery.
They had to crack her chest twice because they didn't realize she had ripped one on the posterior side, as well.
She almost died, and if she hadn't been young and healthy to start, she might have needed a transplant.
Having a baby is far more dangerous than having an abortion.
She truely risks her life if she ever got pregnant or tried to carry to term. It would kill her. And leave two motherless sons. She is just one who should abort right away if she conceived by accident. And it would be a loved and wanted child. The decision would deviate that family.
A woman I worked with never had any kids. The one pregnancy she had almost took her life. Something about the way the baby attached in the uterus, altered her circulation, and took blood away from her heart and
lungs. It was sucking the life out of her. It was her or the fetus. Again the mother grieved.
