8. Pension starting now from zero or retroactive to when the last one was ended?

The former pension plan was ended in 2014. Someone hired that year would have now been in the 401k plan for 10 years now. If that is replaced with a pension, would that person have 10 years vested or zero?

I'm not sure what they are asking for.
