I can appreciate the art of reprehensible artists. I can separate the two. I actually put that to the test with Hitler's paintings once. Made myself reaĺly evaluate them in a vacuum. My conclusion was that it wasn't any good. It was stuff I, someone who isn't a painter at all, couldn't do. But I personally know painters who are way better than he was. Some are high school students.
