It's also definitely not true of many southerners. I've lived in "the South" for more than 40 years, after being raised in Ohio. I saw horrible racism in OH and see it here, too. I also see lots of southerners - including my grown children - who devote their lives to fighting against racism and bigotry.

The electoral college map makes almost all of us look like MAGATs. We're not.
