The older I get and the more chaotic society gets, the more I feel a strong conscience and moral core are the only things that can get one through the time one has left.

I cannot have faith in anything but actual reality/truth/science and connected ideals like non-violence/democracy etc.

One can only do what one thinks is the right thing. The rest is out of one’s hands and not worth thinking about.

That aside, I also find by now that being privately dismissive of the terror engine that is the flow of daily news (as largely irrelevant to my life) works.

There is being informed and being in a state of terror. I think i am informed enough by now of every possible horror. It is time to realistically evaluate them and carry on living.

I am logging off. I feel at this point that I am auto terrorising myself by following the daily diet of alarming global news . There is probably a bus strike or something locally that is more relevant in reality..something dull and mundane..and real..

One cannot tune out real wants and needs, but the daily firehouse of global terrors one can.
