16. I guess the point is, with that kind of support for birthright citizenship, amending is unlikely.

There would have to be a groundswell of support to amend the Constitution to delete birthright citizenship from it. And that is simply not there. So in other words, there is no way birthright citizenship is going away.

Hell, we can't even amend the Constitution to add the ERA, and 75% of Americans support the ERA.
