Samuel "Only the whitest should be favored" Alito and "Cash and Carry Clarence" Thomas would seem to want to zealously pursue striking down any scintilla of a policy that might redress in any way the lengthy and ongoing history of systemic and purposeful infliction on groups of people conditions that are known to negatively affect opportunities. They do so while never failing to uphold and reinforce any and all measures that maintain an advantage for whites.
