we were tasked with clearing a mine field on Hwy,. 80, dubbed "The Highway of Death' during Desert Storm, we, and a company of Navy Seabees, had front row seats to the destruction of the Republican Guard trying to leave Kuwait.
Funny thing was that a fellow Marine, known here as saristaka, was doing over watch on us while we cleared the mine field.
