not a progressive tax. Since healthcare presently is 18% of GDP and rising, there will be huge disruptions in healthcare delivery when moving to single payer, enormous increases in taxes, and probably a healthcare driven economic recession.
That's why medicare for all is not a realistic option and why we have the ACA, which is under attack because of cost.
