consumerism. Many corporations and businesses have moved their operations out of the U.S. and thus, their products need to be "imported" back. If you want to buy a refrigerator, it won't be made in Omaha, Nebraska. Likely from China or Mexico.

With tariffs making products prohibitively expensive, consumers stop buying. The economy slows down. Jobs are lost. Corporations lose profits. Everyone's unhappy.

How long will this last?
