(17,751 posts)56. Jimmy, only a small percentage of cars in Cuba are old American cars.
The VAST majority are Russian, French, Spanish, and various Asian cars.
Also, MOST old US cars in Cuba have transplanted engines from non US cars.
I've lived in Cuba, and been there many many times.
