Always clean your tools when you are done with them and put them back where they belong so theyll be ready the next time you need them.
He also told me when I got my drivers license, if you get in trouble with the law you better hope they keep you. I didnt.

My dad said the same about tools and following the advice sure makes tools last longer.

This is a tough one for me because most of what my mother told me turned out to be wrong or contrived.
