(13,484 posts)193. An interesting part of their story.... Nick Reynolds retired from the group to care for his disabled brother.
By then, of course, he was probably quite wealthy so money wasn't a factor. The folk phase of music had also been replaced by 70's rock so it wasn't as much as a sacrifice.... but still.

Mine was Duke Ellington at the Cotton Club at 142nd and Lenox NYC, 1927. Cost $3, when I was making $16 per week.
