1. My gift list is getting shorter

Anyway, I was out today for regular errands, the post office and pharmacy. I felt a lot of tension around me, and by the time I was done, I just wanted to be home. Is the constant exhortation to get out there and shop ruining any joy we might have for the holidays? Christmas really does seem to be reduced to buying shit with money you don't have for people you don't like.
