4. Funny thing is, I am of the belief that healthcare and race/gender/class issues are intertwined

One major issue that sticks out in that regard is that when it comes to race and health is that it's a "war on drugs" when the face of drug use is black, but a "public health crisis" when the face of drug use is white.

So I think that when we are seeing healthcare issues being muffled, we are also seeing some of these issues on race, gender, and class being muffled.
