Band was lucky on bass.
Meisner, with his high clear voice leaves, get replaced by Tom Schmidt who was an even better bass player, but also had that high clear voice!
There were stories that Randy's reluctance to perform this song live led to his being launched from the band. Frey & Henley were not patient men.
