Here are four more insect photos. As usual, click through the images to see the full resolution photos on Smugmug if you like.

The first two images are of Golofa porteri, the caliper rhinoceros beetle from Venezuela. The common name references the long forelegs, i.e. like a machinist's measuring calipers. The standard dorsal view doesn't do this species justice. The frontal view shows the long horns, one on the head and the other on the first thoracic segment:






The next image is Chrysina adelaida, a jewel scarab beetle from Mexico:




Finally, this is Sternotomis amabilis from Cameroon:
