8. This piece was a gift. There's a pyrite deposit on a ridge north of here in PA, but I've never found any.

The mineral is sitting on a mirror in a lightbox which has an array of 120 dimmable LEDs in its top. I used a silicone earplug to stick the pyrite to the mirror. The box also contains other objects and a blue backdrop of which colors are reflected in the pyrite's facets.
