Jesus! What a nightmare...
I think if I'm going to watch something so dark, so unpleasant, so squalid, and so thoroughly devoid of hope, I'll watch the news.
It's set during the Depression. I saw the 1930's cars and the fedoras in the promo; I thought it was going to be about an intrepid, streetwise lawyer who gives hope to millions in a time of despair. Boy, was I wrong. I should have turned it off after the first ten minutes.
