More than 2 weeks ago, I was in a third grade class. Two hours after the start of the school day, the school nurse showed up and directed 9 students pack up to go home. Two hours later, she asked another 2 students to pack up to go home. I asked her if this had anything to do with Covid and she hesitated and answered that she couldn't say. I thanked her for answering my question. And every 10 minutes, the public PA asked individual students to pack up to go home and to report the Office.

That did it! I knew I was in a Hot Zone. I didn't panic as I just received my Booster 4 days prior and was wearing a mask.

What I resented was that the school was still opened. My class was depleted of half the roll, leaving those behind being exposed to the Virus. (Of course, maybe not all the kids who had to leave had the Virus and they could have had other reasons for a high temperature.)

Why put non-exposed children and faculty at risk?
