1. Yes, caregivers can get the vaccine in Georgia. My neighbor did exactly that.

She called and told me there were spots available and that I should make an appointment before they fill up. I asked how she qualified and she said she told them she was the caregiver for her mom who lives 30 minutes away by herself, still drives, etc. She said they don't check and that I should tell them that I'm the caregiver for my mom - who lives 500 miles in Florida and hasn't even gotten her 2nd shot yet. I told her I thought teachers and other 'essential' workers should be moved to the front of the line and that I'd wait my turn.
