They require you sign the tear-off at the top, but if you do, there is adhesive on one side or the other of it and so your name shows on the outside of the envelop. So it's either your signature is on the outside or your full name and postal address. And they REQUIRE you sign it. In the video they say you keep it. Then why sign it?! I know what my signature looks like, for Pete's sake!

And if you detach the perforated adhesive portion with the signature area on it, again that they require you sign, you cannot seal the envelop! There isn't any other place with adhesive! How are they going to verify my signature if I keep it? (Step 4).

I see I also blew the type of marker to use. I thought I used an ink pen, but it my have used some form of felt ink that doesn't qualify as ink. How the fuck would I know? They didn't say anything about it in their 'follow these steps.'

I think I'm even more confused and frustrated than before. F-it! I don't care. I just put the signed adhesive tear-off inside with the ballot and taped it shut.
