German, French and Urdu and also had a good grasp on Spanish and church Latin and a smattering of English when it comes to language Europeans look at the US as being a bunch of fucking morons. Being of one language hurts our outlook on the rest of the world. Knowing more than one language is not just a matter of linguistic it also has cultural implications. That's one of the reasons why, when it comes to language, geography, history and culture the rest of the world just thinks were fat, lazy and fucking stupid...electing trump proved it to them
