10. My kids grew up in Ohio schools

I keep thinking about their teachers (many of them really good educators) armed to shoot. Nahh ... it would not have worked.

I mentioned this in a different thread, but Ohio is working on legislation to prevent teachers from teaching "divisive concepts" (the evil critical race theory that exists only right-wing fevered imaginations in K-12 classrooms) and from anything related to LGBTQ (the "don't say gay" thing). So if Ms. Frizzle can't be trusted to teach her curriculum, why is she being trusted with a firearm with very limited training? I puzzle and puzzle about this, but my elderly lie-brul brain just can't figure it out.
