This is one thing that raises my blood pressure the fastest. You can see the sleet and freezing rain on the floor of the cement and the cement blocks of the wall beside the pup. Granted, they moved the pup's bed out there, so he wouldn't be on the cement floor, but didn't they think the blankets would become rain soaked and ice covered? If they were afraid of accidents in the house, get a training cage for the night, for pete's sake. There are so many ways to handle this other than throwing a member of the family out in the cold, freezing rain and sleet. Would they do this with their child? As far as I'm concerned, it's the same thing.

I have a nearly 90 pound hound dog who stands waist high to me. She's a ball of never ending energy. Even on a very limited amount of money coming in, we made sure we bought her a warm coat that covered her entire back and down her sides to protect her from the Kansas cold and snow when she needed to go out and do her business. She loves it so much, and it protects her so well, she stays outside and plays in the snow until she gets cold enough to let us know she wants in... much like our kid did at that age.

Animal abuse takes many forms. This is not only physical abuse, it's emotional abuse. I so feel for that poor pup.
