I used Photoshop and Lightroom for years, but when they went to a subscription-only model they lost me (though I do still use a pay-to-own version of Photoshop Elements). I bought a copy of Capture One and have upgraded a couple of times, but I've never warmed to the application and find aspects of it clunky or confusing.

It would be great if I could incorporate Gimp into my photography workflow, as I'm an avid amateur with a sizable backlog of images to sort through, cull, process, and print.
