You can't gerrymander the Senate. The "districts" are the states.

What you can do is run a terrible campaign, where you flee from all of your accomplishments and pretend you are "not as bad" as the other candidate. Leads to a terrible turnout among people who would have voted for you, because "not as bad" does not work anymore. We've seen too many results of that.
